Robyn is a CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with over 27 years of experience in accounting, including more than 12 years focused on forensic accounting.
Her work involves analyzing financial records to determine what occurred, whether financial activity is supported, and how funds moved between accounts. She works with bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documentation to answer specific financial questions in legal and business matters.
Robyn has experience working on financial matters associated with criminal investigations through her prior work with the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Colorado Springs, where she participated in over 40 investigations.
Her background includes audit, tax, and accounting services for both government and privately held entities across a range of industries. This experience supports a structured, objective approach to analyzing financial information.
Robyn holds the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials and has earned a Forensic Accounting Certificate from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
She is a recipient of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Distinguished Achievement Award (2015 and 2017) and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Civilian Achievement Award (2021).
Professional Involvement
Robyn is an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the El Paso County Bar Association.
She serves as Treasurer of the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and is a former President of the Colorado Springs Chapter. She also previously served on the ACFE Global Chapter Leader Committee.
She is a recipient of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Distinguished Achievement Award (2015 and 2017) and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Civilian Achievement Award (2021).
