I have received your submission and will review the information provided to determine whether your matter is a fit for my services. Due to current workload and deadlines, I am only able to take on matters with clearly defined objectives and sufficient time to complete the work.
All matters begin with a Preliminary Review, which allows me to assess the issues, identify the documentation needed, and outline scope, timeline, and next steps.
Preliminary Review
- Fee: $300
- Includes review of your description and selected financial documents
- Applied toward the engagement if retained
Hourly Rates
- Work is billed hourly based on the nature of the task, with rates up to $250 per hour.
Retainer
- If retained, work is performed under an engagement agreement and funded by an initial retainer deposit
- The retainer is determined after the preliminary review once scope is defined
- Typical retainer deposits range from $5,000 to $10,000
- Total cost depends on the scope of work, time period analyzed, and completeness of available documentation
Billing
- Time is billed against the retainer as work is performed
- Invoices are issued on the 15th and last day of each month
- Retainer balances are expected to be maintained to allow work to continue without interruption
- Additional retainer funds may be required as work progresses
Testimony (if applicable)
- $2,000 per half day (approximately 8:00–12:30 or 12:30–5:00)
- $3,000 per full day (approximately 8:00–5:00)
- Testimony fees are paid in advance
